Reading for Autism - April Book Challenge

Hi All! Spring is in the air and the sun is shining a whole lot more here, which means the snow is melting!

Time to try new things. I've decided to help Lindsay from Nighttime Reading Center with the Reading for Autism Challenge. I like to support various causes and Autism is one of them.

I hope you decide to join us as we raise funds for the Autism Foundation. How are we doing that? By reading, of course!

So how exactly does this challenge work? Basically, for every book you read that is in some way related to Autism or Aspergers, you agree to donate a certain amount. You only need to read 1 book as the minimum and the amount you want to donate is up to you. It can be as small as $1 per book or feel free to be as generous as you like.

Our goal is to reach $200. You and even your family members are welcome to join and sign-up as well. I will donate $1 for every sign up. Diane Daniels Manning will donate $5 for each "Almost Perfect" book bought through my website and that of Lindsay's.

I only have time to read one book for this event, and I will read The Rosie Project. Lindsay has also made a list of books that are Autism or Asperger's theme-related, if you need ideas.

If you want to support this Autism Challenge you can sign up here.  If you don't have time to participate but still want to help us with this cause, feel free to make a small donation by visiting the Donation Page.

Thanks for your support!

Laura
