I am an author, book reviewer, entrepreneur and blogger since 2009. I also own iRead Book Tours and Italy Book Tours where I organize professional virtual book tours. My reading tastes vary greatly and I read both fiction and non-fiction. I review adult, YA and children's books, since I love reading to my children. I review books for pleasure and learning.
I have a degree in Special Care Counseling and have worked as a psychiatric child counselor and as a special education technician at various institutions. I hold a diploma in Writing for Children and Teenagers and an advanced certificate in TESOL from the Canadian Institute of English. I am currently working in a community centre developing and implementing adapted programs for senior's with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I am married to a wonderful man, have two children and I'm trying to write my second novel. It's a busy life!

As of May 2010, Sandra has joined me in reviewing books. She is an eclectic reader, open-minded, with interests that span many topics, especially women's issues. She has pursued studies at Concordia University in Montreal and written a term paper on Chinese women. She teaches part-time and lives with her hubby and Cleo, her beloved cat.
Maria Fragapane - BSc Kinesiology - Book Reviewer
As of July 2014, Maria has joined me in reviewing books. Maria is a program manager in the Wellness Department of the Cummings Centre in Montreal, where she has been working with seniors for over 20 years . She is well-known for the specialized and adapted exercise programs she develops for stroke and heart attack survivors and individuals with Parkinson's Disease. Maria enjoys playing soccer, hiking and reading. She is the proud mom of two children.
